This week we taste four wines based on one of Spain’s most important grapes, Tempranillo. The name means, “early ripening” and it is a fairly thin-skinned, neutral grape in terms of flavor. This means, vineyard location and winery practices play a large role in how the finished wine tastes. This tasting will demonstrate that and will showcase four very different wines. As usual, $5 four wines and snacks.
